The Last Song, by Nicholas Sparks

In Nicholas Sparks' The Last Song, Veronica (Ronnie) Miller and her younger brother are sent to spend the summer with their father in his hometown, North Carolina. Ronnie has many objections to this seeing as she hasn't spoken to her father in over three years, since he left to tour for his music abandoning his marriage- and in Ronnie's mind- his family as well. She's changed dramatically from the musical, daddy's girl she once was to a rebellious 17 year-old who's recently had a run-in with the law. She meets Will, a rich beach volleyball player, who's determined to get to know her as she tries alienating herself from him, her father, and almost everyone else she comes across. However, Ronnie discovers that she might not have all the answers as she assumed she did and finds herself letting her father back into her life, along with Will. As the summer progresses, she learns not just about love and family, but herself as well.

I recommend this emotional novel to anyone of all ages as it's told in the different points of view of each character and the plot line is portrayed beautifully.

Ronnie is a seventeen year old teenager who grew up with a passion for playing the piano with her father, however when the relationship between her parents end at a young age, she becomes a whole new person. Ronnie continues her years a rebellious teen and never plays the piano again. After years of not seeing her father the story starts when Ronnie and her brother are forced to live with their father at his beach house during the summer. Throughout the story Ronnie learns many different lessons. She experiences true love with Will and gains a powerful bond with her father and brother.

The Last Song is one of my favorite books by Nicholas Sparks. Its such a beautiful love story! The Last song is a breathtaking story about love not only between Ronnie and Will but also between her father and her as well. I have recommended this book to everybody i know! i have both laughed and cried during this book! Anyone who loves a love story will love this book. In my opinion, this was a very good book filled with a lot of suspense and shock. This was one of my favorite Nicholas Sparks books. I thought that there were many happy aspects to it as well as sad ones. This book is for the readers who really enjoy romance novels. I do not think anyone who does not enjoy romance novels will like this book very much, but I liked it a lot because I am a big fan of Nicholas Sparks. This book was amazing and I think that it has to be one of the best books I've ever read.
