I liked reading this book. It was very reminiscent of the
original Sherlock Holmes novels, and it continued them almost flawlessly. The
story was intense and thrilling, and the descriptions the author used really
contributed to making the 20th-century settings seem realistic and interesting.
Overall, I thought this was a good book, but it didn't have some of the
"kick" that the original novels do. Nevertheless, I would recommend
this book, especially to enjoyers of Doyle's original Sherlock.
