Hatchet, by Gary Paulsen
The
book Hatchet, by Gary Paulsen, is about a 13-year old boy named Brian who was on a plane to visit his
mother, but during the ride the pilot of the plane had a heart attack, and
crashed in the Canadian wilderness.
Hatchet
is one of my favorite books. The plot is very good and captures the reader's
attention immediately. I would recommend this book to everyone. Hatchet made me
think of what would happen if I was in Brian's shoes and was trapped in the
wilderness with no help.

I think this book would be an amazing book for people who like a person changing the whole scenario or the book. It is a real cliffhanger I liked the part about him being in the wilderness and trying all his surroundings as a tool the part I didn't like was the beginning about his parents having a divorce. This book really gets people into the mood as soon as your into the part about the plane drive you won't stop wanting to read because this book is an eye catcher. Each scene to the reader is that they want to keep reading to know what happens next and the only reason my favorite part was the plane travel because I wouldn't want to stop. I would want to read everything and every detail to know what happens after.

"The Hatchet" is an engaging and compelling read that offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of survival in the wilderness. Many readers have appreciated how the book portrays the resilience and resourcefulness of the human spirit, as Brian Robeson must overcome numerous challenges to survive. The book is also praised for its vivid descriptions of the Canadian wilderness and the wildlife that inhabits it. On the other hand, some readers have found the book's pacing slow, and the plot predictable at times. Overall, "The Hatchet" is an excellent book for readers who enjoy adventure and survival stories, especially for young adults who are interested in outdoor activities and nature.
