Crossed, by Ally Condie

In Crossed by Ally Condie which is a sequel to the greatly reviewed novel Matched, Crossed begins with Cassie starting her journey to find Ky in the Outer Provinces. The novel is told through both Cassie and Ky's perspective. Cassie's perspective provides a viewpoint of her journey to find Ky, while Ky's perspective provides a viewpoint on his life away from Society and more importantly away from Cassia. Once they find each other, they meet new people who help them to find a new world that they both thought were make believe. When all seems well, we find out Ky has a secret he is keeping from Cassie, and they are separated yet again.

A more action packed novel then the first, Crossed answered all the questions I had regarding the first book. I enjoyed the omniscient perspective and I'm sure other readers will too. Cassie and Ky's journey will keep you on your feet. This novel is filled with mystery and secrets as well as love and action. I look forward to the last novel in this trilogy.

Crossed is the second book from the Matched trilogy written by Ally Condie. Ally Condie makes her readers experience true love and friendship. She provides us the definition of love. The book starts off with Cassia working in a camp while Ky is in the Outer Province. Cassia is trying to find Ky by working in the camp. In the camp she will find a friend named Indie who will accompany her throughout her journey. On the other hand, Ky will find two people working alongside, named Vick and Eli. There's a major firing one day where Ky and many other Aberrations are. On that day, Ky fled to the carving with Vick and Eli. He thought there were villagers since his dad told him about his trips. Right after Ky leaves, Cassia and Indie reach the Outer Provinces where the three boys were. Will she be able to find him? How will she find him now? What will happen when she finds Ky?

I enjoyed this book even more than Matched because Ally Condie shows her readers the definition of friendship and love. I enjoyed this book more than Matched because they join the Rising. It not revealed exactly what they do but Ally Condie hinted that there's going to be a major war between the Society and the Rising. The third and final book in this trilogy is going to be interesting. I would definitely recommend this book to a few of my friends.
