”The Count of Monte Cristo’ had me feeling a lot of different emotions and opinions while reading. One of the main thoughts I would get is how admirable Edmond is. No matter what he stayed true to himself and was very intelligent and strong. His transformation truly was a spectacle. Only at one point did I question his character when I felt his quest for revenge was a bit too deep, but then again remembered it was a story and he was done very wrong, so I believe a lot of it was justified.
