Bruise, by Desiree Bissonnette

In this book there is a 17 year-old girl named Sara Hale. This character has dealt with a lot of depression and anxiety throughout her adolescent years. She suffered through lots of bullying and has been alone most of her life. Sara Hale dies and her most ruthless bully, Ali Parker, is affected the most. After Sara's death, Ali starts to realize the physical and emotional pain she causes everyone and finally sees the bruises she caused.

This was a really good book! It was very sad a lot of the times but really thought the reader something about bullying. I found myself not wanting to put the book down. Many of the parts were not expected and made the book more interesting. This book made me feel a little sad but also very glad because of the lesson it taught. This book would mostly be good for teens who can really relate to many of the problems that the characters face throughout the story.
