Spoiled, by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan

Spoiled by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan is about your average girl named Molly Dix. Molly discovers that her biological father is Brick Berlin, who is a world famous movie star. Molly moves to Los Angeles and begins the rich and famous world of celebrity life. While in Los Angeles, Molly meets her spoiled half sister Brooke Berlin. However Los Angeles isn't what it seems for Molly. Celebrity life for Molly takes a while getting used to. Brooke isn't much help either, in face she just makes everything worse for her. Brooke is jealous that Molly is getting all the attention from the paparazzi and her dad, so she plans revenge on Molly.

This book was, entertaining, witty at times, laugh-out-loud funny, and easy to read. I loved how the author mixed in real Hollywood with each of the characters' own stories. It made me keep reading and kept me interested because I wanted to see how the two sisters, Molly and Brook, with two totally different personalities, would figure out a way to get along with each other. Spoiled is a funny and cute story. It was so much fun reading about Molly's and Brooke's relationship and how the kept doing these "stuff" to each other.  I really enjoyed reading about the sisters. The way Brooke always thought and tried all the stuff that would annoy Molly, while Molly herself tried to be nice to Brooke. The book started pretty good, but in the middle it was kind of slow. Spoiled got better and better towards the ending. The most interesting and funny character in this story would be Brick Berlin, the girls dad. Brick was so funny! I laughed at almost everything he said. Molly's friends were also very nice and tried to take care of her.  If you haven't read this book you should.

Molly Dix is like any average sixteen year old in Indiana, she reads gossip magazines and has a fabulous best friend and boyfriend. With her mother suffering from cancer, she reveals to Molly that her real father is Brick Berlin, one of the most amazing actors. When her mother dies, Brick calls Molly and asks her to move in with him and his perfect daughter Brooke in LA. Brooke is horrified and she makes a plan to make sure Molly moves back to Indiana. With all the bad press, stuck up prep school kids, and a constant battle with Brooke, Molly just might do that.

Spoiled by Heather Cooks and Jessica Morgan was a six out of ten in my opinion. A disappointment. I expected better details, and generally, a better book. It was a fun book to read, but it seemed as if it was dragging on at times. I've never read a book by Heather Cocks and I am not too interested in checking out her other books. I think Spoiled was a cute, humorous book, perfect for filling time. I recommend this book to girls who want a short, cute book to read for fun.

A sixteen-year-old girl named Molly Dix has moved to the city Los Angeles because she is famous for being a model for fashion trends/styles and having articles published into most read magazines with the help of her friends Charmaine and Arugula. Her mother Laurel died a few months ago and she finds out that her father is Brick Berlin and that her stepmother is Shelby Kendall. Molly also has a bratty half sister named Brooke Berlin who is a movie star. Because of Brooke and Molly knowing this sibling relationship as famous industrial teenagers, the question is;Will Molly and Brooke ever get along as sisters? Or they will never get along and pretend that they never heard these news?

I think the book was really astounding. I liked it when the author added a juicy fight to the story and when there was a little spice to it such as when Molly had to make a very big decision to go back to her home state which is Indiana. This story made me feel suspension to it wondering on what will happen next. I have to admit...I think a teen who is a girly girl, they would probably like this book. What I didn't like was when the vocabulary was used in this book. I think it was a little too hard to understand since there are many words that were used. But even though your not the girly girl type, you could read this book if you wanted to. I'm not a girly girl myself but I really liked the moral of the story because I think that this could teach you life skills. Especially with your brothers and/or sisters. So when you read this, please try to enjoy it. This book will have scenes that you can visualize in your mind such as from suspense scenes to juicy fights.
