Prom Anonymous, by Blake Nelson

Prom Anonymous, by Blake Nelson, is about three childhood friends who have grown apart. Chloe, Lauren, and Jace decide to go to prom but on the way, they go through though times with drama and humor. I would recommend this book to junior and senior girls who are going to prom. I really liked how this book was about three completely different girls and they each had trouble figuring out school, friendship and prom. This book is really a nice read. -Reviewed by NN, grade 9.

Prom Anonymous by Blake Nelson touches on one of the most important experiences of a high schooler can ever undergo. It centers on Chloe Thomas, and while she has no date and no dress, she decides to pull it off regardless. She asks two of her older friends Laura and Jace for help and that is when the chaos ensues. Interested in a realistic telling of the average high school girl's life? This is it.

Blake Nelson's Prom Anonymous was cute but nothing more. It was interesting to read the book and it be told from multiple perspectives and it was definitely entertaining. The ending was really surprising. It is a cutesy, light-hearted novel that you should pick up if you're looking for an ebullient read, read this! However, although the novel is marketed at a high school audience, the writing style is better suited for beginner young adult readers. I would say that this is better than your average prom story.
