Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake

Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake is about fungi and how they're more important than most people realize. They matter so much to life on Earth. It explored how fungi interact with plants, animals, and ecosystems in surprising ways, it really showed how connected nature really is. The book blends science with storytelling while also encouraging the readers to see the living world as a web of relationships rather than separate individuals.

In my opinion, Entangled Life is really interesting and eye-opening. I never really thought about fungi as important before this book, it really took a topic that most people don't think much about into something very interesting. It opened my mind to new concepts and ideas and helped me learn about a fascinating alien in our own world. There aren't many books that make me want to start writing the review before I finish them however this is one of them. Overall, I really enjoyed and recommend it.

This book explores the hidden world of fungi and how they shape life on Earth in ways most people never notice. It explains how fungal networks connect plants, help ecosystems survive, and even influence human life through food, medicine, and technology. Through a mix of science and storytelling, the author shows how these organisms blur the line between individual and environment, revealing a complex and interconnected natural world without giving away every idea or example in detail.

I think this book is really fascinating, especially if you’re curious about science and nature. It takes something most people ignore- fungi, and makes it feel important and almost mind-blowing. Some parts can be a little complex, but the writing is creative and makes big ideas easier to understand. I liked how it made me see the world differently, especially how everything is connected.
