Solitaire by Alice Oseman

This is not a love story. "My name is Victoria Spring. I think you should know that I make up a lot of stuff in my head and then get sad about it. I like to sleep and I like to blog. I am going to die someday." This year Tori met Micheal Holden and now there’s Solitaire, a blog that pulls strange pranks at school. She really doesn't care about Micheal. But now both of them would need to stop Solitaire.

This is my personal favorite book. This is my 4th time reading Solitaire by Alice Oseman and it's a masterpiece. Solitaire perfectly captures what it feels like to be lost, numb and disconnected as a teenager. Alice Oseman doesn't romanticize sadness, she makes it raw and real. The book explores loneliness, mental health, and the quiet hope of finding people who truly undestand you. What makes this book special is that It's not about big drama, it's about feeling too much and nothing at all at the same time.
