Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly
In the book Hidden Figures written by Margot Lee Shetterly it shows an inspiring story of three African American woman who worked at Nasa. During their time of working at Nasa they were treated differently from the other works due to their race and gender. This book shows their struggles through facing the hard life they lived due to their race. They were not shown the same opportunities as everyone else so they took matters into their own hands and showed Nasa how capable they were.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Reading about these three woman who had to go through so much just to get the same recognition as everyone else did really felt empowering. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy reading about drama based things. This book is also really good for inspiration. It shows people to not let anyone decide your own faith and instead take matters into your own hands. I also really like how this book really shows each of the woman's personal story.
