Allegiant, by Veronica Roth

Allegiant, by Veronica Roth,  is the third and final installment in the Divergent series. The book immediately picks up from the last one, when Tris, the main character, reveals a video that changes lives forever. The factions are all destroyed and everyone is now factionless. Tobias's mother, Evelyn, is in charge of the factionless now. People labeled as threats to her leadership are placed in prison, including Tris. After undergoing an interrogation under the influence of truth serum, she is released into the chaos that is now her beloved hometown. Action and suspense ensue in these exciting novel.

This book was a page turner, I read it in one sitting! It is full of action and suspense and, of course, romance between Tris and Tobias, my favorite couple ever. I really enjoyed the book, except for the ending that completely ruined the whole series. Be prepared to be shocked. I definitely recommend this book to fans of the Divergent series. I'm really sad that this series is over, it's amazing.

Allegiant, by Veronica Roth, is the third book to the divergent series. Now tris knows the truth about their community and the reasoning behind it. While tris wants to learn more about the outside world Evelyn is being a strict dictative leader wanting people to live as equals all together in the boarders of their community which they all know now was created as an experiment. Anger rises between the factionless and former faction members. As tris begins to question Evelyn’s motives for wanting to lead their community she decides to do what she can to get information on the large world beyond their tiny community with the help of the group of allegiant soldiers.

This novel combines the elements of romance, action, adventure, and science. this book is a great reed for many people and especially for teens. You will truly indulge in this intricately thought out novel that gets readers to think but is also entertaining. This was one of few books where I could not wait for the next opportunity I would have to pick it up and read again. The ending was a great surprise and I’m sure will leave you all hanging for more. I hope all of you who choose to read Allegiant will enjoy it as much as I did.

After the video revealing the truth about the factions is released to public, Factionless leader, and Tobias's mom, Evelyn Johnson appoints herself as the leader of the city and forces people to live as equal citizens without factions. However, Tris, the main heroine from the first two books, questions Evelyn's intentions and gets kidnapped by the Allegiant, a rebel group who wishes to escape the city. Tris agrees to help the Allegiant by going outside of the city and finding the truth about their existence under the condition that her traitorous brother, Caleb, is taken with her. Tris, along with Tobias, Christina, Cara, Uriah, Tori, Peter, and Caleb then leave the city and find the Bureau of General Welfare, where they learn the truth about the city's history.

"Allegiant" was a step down for the series and was not as great as the first two books. The many, descriptive details that made this franchise fun to read is still present in this book. However, the amount of plot holes and illogical reasoning/thinking has greatly increased. While the other two books had many problems regarding the story, they were, to some degree, reasonable. The story of "Allegiant", however, is not. Instead of focusing on the main plot like the other books, this book focuses on a backstory that is both boring and absurd. Furthermore, the characters in this book have completely different personalities than its predecessors, and also make many bad, stupid, and illogical decisions. If you like the "Divergent" series, do not read this book for it may change your mind.

Tris Prior, Tobias Eaton, Caleb Prior, and the rest of their friends decide to leave the city in order to find out more about a major mystery introduced in the end of the last book, Insurgent by Veronica Roth. There, they find out the real meaning of what being Divergent is and discover the truth about the origin of their city and what led to its demise, leading to great tensions between Tris and the people outside the city.

Allegiant is the third and final book in the amazing Divergent series by Veronica Roth. I loved this book a lot. It is my favorite book out of the whole series. It was really well written and had great plot. Veronica Roth is one of my favorite authors. It was really intense and had me on the edge of my seat. The ending left me in tears. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something fun to read.
