In the book Inheritance, or, The vault of souls, by Christopher Paolini, Eragon and Saphira continue their fight to free Alagaesia from Galbatorix's evil reign. They try to find a way to gain more power so they can defeat the evil king when the time comes. They get help from Arya, princess of the elves, Eragon's cousin Roran, and Nasuada, leader of the Varden. As unforeseen events occur, the dragon and her rider must push through their difficulties to try to fight for the freedom of Alagaesia. They fight for all the people who have already fallen in battle as a result of the struggle between the Empire and the Varden and they fight for those who do not have the means to stand up for themselves. In a final battle between good and evil, Eragon gives all he has left to try to save his friends.

I thought this book was amazing and it is one of my favorite books. It contains a lot of action and the relationships between the characters make the book so much more interesting. I loved this series of books and this was a great end to it. I would have liked the ending to have not been so abrupt but I still think that it is one of the best books I've ever read. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to read adventure stories because this is a great example of what an adventure story should be like. This book makes me think about how people can do things that are so morally wrong while still believing that they are doing what is best for the world. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend this book to everyone.

This book starts off with Eragon and Arya finishing the battle in Belatona. His cousin Roran, who is taking a city in Aroughs, will meet up with Eragon when they try to capture Dras-Leona. A secret sewer is discovered and Eragon enters it and opens the gates for the Varden to enter. Dras-Leona is captured but Nasuada is taken by Murtagh and Thorn. Eragon is appointed head of the Varden in her absence. Eragon remembers a conversation with Solembun about the Vault of Souls and Eragon goes there in hopes of receiving aid to defeat Galbatorix. Eragon and Saphira discover their true names and take five eldunari from the Vault which provide energy and aid the two when they head to Uru Baen. The Varden captures the city and Eragon, Saphira, Arya, Elva, and a few other elves head to Galbatorix's citadel. The final battle begins.

This is my most favorite book in the Eragon series, as more insight is shown into Galbatorix and the dragon riders. This information gives hope to bring back the age of dragon riders and peace throughout the kingdom of Algaesia.

I would recommend this book to 7th graders as they would understand this story more than younger people. Christopher Paolini is a young author, but he writes with great detail that only mature and intelligent people would understand

Before I tell you the summary of the story, just know that this is the FINAL book so you must have read the first three to understand what I'm summarizing here and to know who the characters even are. This book starts off with Eragon and Arya finishing the battle in Belatona. The battle in Belatona is when the Varden capture the only city in their way of reaching Uru Baen and destroying the evil, invincible king, Galbatorix once and for all to wipe him off the realm. Galbatorix controls the most well equipped army and he casts spells on them so that they can fight even after being fatally wounded. Or, in other words, not being able to feel pain. This is demonstrated when one of Galbatorix's soldiers is shot by arrows and still doesn't fall. Eragon's cousin Roran is reaching the the rest of the Vardan's forces to regroup with them on their campaign to Uru Baen. Roran is one of the main generals of the Varden army after demonstrating his greatness in battle. Roran was once too like an ordinary farmer like Eragon Roran meets up with Eragon when they try to capture Dras-Leona. A secret sewer is discovered and Eragon enters it and opens the gates for the Varden army to enter and bring havoc and chaos to the enemy soldiers. Dras-Leona is captured but Nasuada is taken by Murtagh and Thorn. Nasuada is the Queen of the Vardans and their leader, however, she doesn't influence the battle much. It's said that Galbatorix has many eldunari which proves why he hasn't been defeated. The Varden captures the city and Eragon, Saphira, Arya, Elva, and a few other elves head to Galbatorix's citadel so that they could end his power sources and find out the name of all the words, which will restore peace throughout the lands. Galbatorix's fortress is laid with traps and much of the force entering his chamber die out. The group enters the chamber and the final battle begins and the two commence in action which brings destruction.

This is my most favorite book in the Eragon series, as more insight is shown into Galbatorix and the dragon riders. This information written in this book gives hope to bring back the age of dragon riders and peace throughout the kingdom of Algaesia.

One of the things I experienced while reading this book was that I felt that I was right there- with the story characters, in the battles, and that feeling was very joyous. I get that feeling every time I read these books, and I've never experienced such a unique feeling like this. It's one of the things that distinguishes it from books written by others.

I would HIGHLY recommend this book to any elementary/middle school student. This book is easy and comfortable to read unlike many other sophisticated books written by authors such as Ernest Hemingway or Charles Dickens. This book is a fast way to gain comprehension and expand your vocabulary. One of the main things I liked about it is that it's very easy and comfortable to read. It won't hurt your head, you won't fall asleep reading it, it's just a nice story to read on your free time.

Christopher Paolini is a young author, but he writes with great detail that all ages can understand. For being so young, he is an amazing author. Either that or it's luck that he made this story so well. Christopher Paolini is hands down, one of the best teen authors I've ever seen because he knows what the reader is expecting and adds plot twists and surprises to catch the readers attention.

Inheritance, by Christopher Paolini, is the closer the the Inheritance Cycle series. The book ends with a bang as Eragon must face his greatest threat, Galbatorix. The book is fast paced and impossible to put down. This is one of the most amazing fictional books out there and is a must read for anyone who likes Harry Potter and/or Percy Jackson.

This book was so amazing that it made me cry at the end. It had closure like no other book series in this world. I love the Inheritance Cycle so much and I can't wait to re read the series. I would recommend this book to any one who's older that 12 because Christopher Paolini has an intense vocabulary which can be hard to comprehend for younger readers. Nevertheless, Inheritance is a great story and I hope everyone likes it as much as I did.
