Along for the Ride, by Sarah Dessen

Auden is an average girl who is having some family trouble. Her parents got divorced and her father left to live with another woman who had a baby from him. Auden stayed to live with her mother that always expected Auden to be perfect at everything that she did. Auden developed a habit of staying up at nights, which is called insomnia. This happened because she would stay at a café and do her homework just so she would not hear her parents fighting. Auden gets a chance to go live with her father and his new family, and she is more than happy to go. She makes some new friends there and meets a boy that has his own troubles. Will they understand each other and will their relationship accelerate?

Along for the Ride, by Sarah Dessen is about a girl with a real life problem. Many teenage girls and guys can relate to this story. They all have different ways of expressing themselves. Some do not even know how to express themselves and it is just too much pressure for them. This book may help those teens learn a way to deal with their struggles and how to keep up with both parents. Along For The Ride is filled with many different emotions, for example: love, confusion, hurt, pain, attraction, etc. Read this book and see how Auden got herself on the right track again after a big change in her family.

Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen is about a girl, Auden West, who has been having difficulties sleeping at night due to her parents who are fighting/arguing during her time while she was in high school. Now that Auden has now got the stage where she is now heading to college. Before she heads she journey to college, she decides to spend her summer with her father with her new wife and new baby. Now as everyone who has the same problem for their parents who have a divorce and gotten remarried. They feel very initiated and not quite sure if they will like their new step mom or step dad. As for Auden, she is also in the mind state where she doesn't know if she'll like her step mom. But now that she met her new step mom and half baby sister, she is pleased and likes them. Auden has insomnia, where she has trouble sleeping at night, she spends her nights where she goes out for a drive. Now that she meets Eli, where he also has insomnia. Where they both get together and spend their nights together and have little adventures. Getting to know each other and having a good time together.

As a fan of Sarah Dessen, she is the most fantastic author I have ever read. As if you may not have heard she is the best young authors at this very day. The way she identifies and makes the characters very relate-able and believable. As I was reading the book, i couldn't put down the book. It always made me want to predict what happens next, but i didn't want to wait, I had to know now at the moment. As I made my goal of not putting it down and stopping, I made my way to finish completing reading. I didn't know in the end where it made me downside was going to end like that. I could not just leave the characters in that way, I wanted more from them. I was demanding for more but I end up loving anyways. The special things that books makes you feel is quite astonishing.
