Flipped, by Wendelin Van Draanen

Flipped, by Wendelin Van Draanen, is told by the two different perspectives of Juli and Bryce. Ever since Juli was a young girl, she has chased after Bryce who was supposedly the love of her life. However, Bryce has a different point of view and thinks of Juli as an obsessive, weird girl who has always been there for him. But things all start to change after an accidental occurence and Juli keeps her distance from Bryce. Both of their feelings have changed and they seem to have swapped their views of one another. The romance of these two cute, real characters is relatable to any other normal teenagers. I think this book is a very fun one to read and interesting because it's from the point of two different aspects of the male and female teens. I recommend this for teenagers who have felt the pain of a heartbreak or the joy of being in young teenage love because these two characters know how it feels like when their feelings are FLIPPED.

Flipped, by Wendelin Van Draanen, follows two teens as they tell their story in two different point of view. They talk in turn explaining the story of their eight grade year. It starts when Bryce Loski moves into the neighborhood. Juli Baker was obsessed with him from the first time she laid eyes on him. Bryce hated Juli ever since they met. One day, Juli refused to get out of a tree and Bryce didn't stand up for her when the construction workers came. Juli is mad at Bryce is debating with himself whether he should apologize and whether he likes her or not. Flipped is great book for teens. It focuses on teen friendship and relationships. This book is unique because it says each event in two POU's. This allows you to get the scoop of information you need to understand what's going on. This is a perfect book for teens who like juicy drama. I had a fun time reading this book and it was hard to put down.

Bryce Loski has been disgusted by Juli Baker ever since he moved to town. She has been utterly in love with him ever since she set her eyes on him. He has never found her attractive and she basically stalks him. Although, things change when Bryce enters middle school. He begins to discover his newborn feelings for girls. Juli begins to distance herself from Bryce thinking nothing romantic could occur, between them. He begins to enjoy Juli's weird interests and hobbies. She comes to a decision that Bryce is as empty as everyone else. Somehow all their feelings have been...well FLIPPED.

Flipped, by Wendelin Van Draanen is adorable. It has this cute love story that catches one's attention. I love this book, how many books do you know have chickens and sycamore trees? The romance that these characters have is unusual, but very relatable. I highly recommend this book to people that enjoy love stories or just someone who likes a good book.
