The Notebook, by Nicholas Sparks

In The Notebook, by Nicholas Sparks, an old man reads aloud the same story to his wife every day, because she doesn't remember what happened the previous day. The story is about a mom who thinks her daughter is too good for Noah, her poor childhood friend. He and Allie, however, cross roads one day and are inseparable. I loved reading this book, and it was much more pleasurable than watching the movie. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The Notebook is a love story that portrays two lovers that were not meant to be together but overcame many struggles and let their love conquer all. The story begins with an old man reading a story to a woman in a nursing home. The woman is sick with Alzheimer's disease and does not remember anything. The story starts with Allie Hamilation and Noah Calhoun, two young lovers who meet at a carnival. As the two characters continue to fall in love with one another, the parents of Allie forbid her to be with Noah. Allie and her family move away, but Allie continued to wait for a letter that Noah would send to her. Noah continues to write her letters for years , but never receives a response. Little does he know that Allie never received any of the letters and is already engaged to another man. Noah goes off to war and writes his last letter to Allie . A few weeks later Allie sees Noah's picture on a newspaper and decides to visit him. Although she is already engaged to another man , Lon, she still has feelings for Noah. Who will she let her heart go to?

I truly recommend this book to people who enjoy a good read on a rainy day. The excitment of this book takes one's imagination to places and Nicholas Sparks once again has created another piece of artwork. The plot of the story continues to make one's heart throb throughout the whole book and makes one excited to finish the book. This unique love story allows readers to enjoy and feel the emotions of the characters in the story. I would give this book a 5 out of 5 .

I honestly loved this book! I would recommend it to readers who like romantic books. It didn't really capture my full attention until I got a few chapters into it, though. But once it got exciting, I was not disappointed! It made me want to laugh and cry all at the same time. It made me feel sympathy towards some characters, or frustration at other times. It is the type of book that really connects to you emotionally. This book was a very cute romance novel and I will probably read it again sometime, that's how much I liked it!

The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks revolves around a notebook that Noah Calhoun possesses, in which he writes the story of how he found his one true love. Seventeen year-old Noah finds himself falling for Allie Nelson, a rich, upper class young lady who comes to visit New Bern, North Carolina the summer of 1932. Sure enough, Allie falls for Noah, too, and their summer is filled with the memories of a first love. When summer ends, Allie moves back to her own town, leaving Noah behind in New Bern, heartbroken and alone. 14 years later, in 1946, a newspaper article reunites Allie and Noah, but things have changed: Allie is engaged, and Noah is unsure whether they will ever be able to rekindle the special bond they once shared. Will they go their separate ways or will fate bring them together again?

The Notebook was definitely one of the most romantic books I have ever read, and I definitely enjoyed the novel. Noah's love for Allie is so pure and so special. He never stops loving Allie, even after the years they spent apart. The Notebook is emotional and such a beautiful story, I could read it over and over. I would recommend this book to teenage girls and adults looking for a thought-proving, inspiring read that shows that true love's bonds can never be broken. The Notebook will surely leave readers hoping to find their own Noah Calhoun in the world.

Noah Cahloun and Allie Hamilton meet each other the first time at a fair in their town of Seabrook Island. Soon, Noah and Allie start falling in love over the summer. At first its a summer fling but it becomes more than that and Allie and Noah become inseparable. As the romance continues, Allie's parents make it clear that they disapprove of Noah and that they don't want Allie with him anymore. Allie leaves suddenly and they do not see each other for four years. Allie moves on not knowing that Noah has been trying to contact her for a year and she becomes engaged. Allie returns to Seabrook for her engagement and sees Noah in the newspaper and goes back to find him to make her choice between men.

The Notebook,by Nicholas Sparks, is such a romantic and sad book. I love how it ends like it would end in real life. Noah and Allie have such a strong relationship and they literally would do anything for each other. This book had me in tears and I really liked how Noah was telling Allie the story of their life in the retirement home. I did not dislike any part of the book. Everyone should read "The Notebook" because it has both male and female points of view and it's just amazing.
