The Princess Bride, by William Goldman

The Princess Bride, written by William Goldman, is a fictional tale which involves romance, adventure, and a great deal of memorable characters. It involves a normal "farm boy" who seeks desperate measures to win the heart of his princess. Don't be fooled by the typical title or plot line - it's a true classic. I enjoyed this book so much, and can say it's one of my favorites. It has so many dimensions to it that it's almost certain you'll love this story. It's an addicting and quick read; my four-hundred-some pages were done in four hours.

In The Princess Bride by William Goldman Wesley leaves his true love, Buttercup, to work on a ship. Buttercup shortly finds out that he was killed by the Dread Pirate Roberts. Then Buttercup gets kidnapped by a Spaniard, a giant, and a Sicilian. Trying to escape from their clutches, she gets help from new friends like Miracle Max, she faces unforeseen difficulties and must stay alive in magical places unlike any she's ever seen before.

This book is one of a kind. It's equal parts romance, adventure, comedy, betrayal, and danger all rolled into one great book. Everyone can find something that they enjoy in this book making it the perfect book for all ages. The Princess Bride is unique and hard to put down with its dramatic flare.
