JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Part 4, Diamond Is Unbreakable. 2, by Hirohiko Araki
In JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4 Issue #2, by Hirohiko Araki, the freshly awoken stand user Koichi Hirose takes most of the spotlight as he explores his new stand's powers and abilities through multiple deathly situations. Even Koichi Hirose, at first a stainless man with an egg-like stand, turned into a snake-like being named Echoes Act 1 that could emphasize noises and make them louder and ring the opponent's eardrums. Later in the story, when he faces off a stand against literal hair, his stand transforms into Act 2, a more powerful entity that could make the sounds he makes, into a reality. And Josuke fights a clone of himself.
I did like it, but only because of one thing... Koichi got an entire hairdo after retrieving his stand. Oh sure, Josuke technically fought himself, big whoop. But, Koichi not only obtained a stand that further transformed, but his hair now seemed to fit his new and more confident figure. He's still lovable, Koichi, but now he's bolder thanks to his newly acquired spirit powers and can now fight alongside Josuke and the rest of the Morioh Warriors. To anyone who has a liking for powers that relate to screaming or sound, I think this issue might exclusively be for you. However, of course, reading the rest of the series is heavily recommended as well.
