Berserker Volume 1 by Kentaro Miura

"Berserk Deluxe 1" by Kentaro Miura, is a Seinen Manga that compiles the first 3 volumes of Berserk. The main character is a mercenary by the name of Guts that is marked with a cursed mark that attracts demons called Apostles. The book gives us a slice of fantasy elements and also a piece of dark horror blended together into "Berserk"

In my opinion this is one of the greatest manga ever, the Manga starts in the middle of the story where you have a dark evil Guts and through the majority of the first volume he seems like an anti hero and sometimes even a villain, then you see his backstory in the "golden age" arc and see what really went wrong and why he went this path. Oh yeah and the artwork is so damn beautiful.
