The Midnight Library, by Matt Haig

35-year-old Nora Seed has just committed suicide and expecting it to all go black, she is instead greeted by a library forever at 00:00:00. Midnight, with her old school librarian, Mrs. Elm, inside. She explains that the Midnight Library is a place between life and death where Nora can conquer her lifeā€™s regrets and explore the other directions her life couldā€™ve taken. Through these lives, Nora overcomes her suicidal tendencies and finds a passion, a potential, for life and living.

The Midnight Library, by Matt Haig, is absolutely eye-opening and utterly refreshing as a reminder of how capable everything is. It forces you to believe that a career, something on your bucket list, whatever, is completely possible- and thatā€™s crazy. The Midnight Library is just so very real and Iā€™d recommend it to anyone age-appropriate and willing to hear me out. The realness is so overwhelming that I didnā€™t have time to wonder about what could possibly be wrong with the novel. Itā€™s a favorite- go read it!
