An Ode to Edward Cullen by Stephenie Meyer

He can dazzle with his liquid topaz eyes,
But you should also expect psychotic car brake cutting times
Although a vegetarian with blood lust,
he can easily garner your trust
Glitters like a diamond under the sun,
sparkling vampires are such fun
Happy happy joy joy,
even though he believes he is eternally damned
I am quite a fan
Mr. Darcy 2.0, with tousled bronze hair and
A velvet caressed voice
Love’s an ignorant whiny brat,
Please, Dear God, make it stop
Born on June 20th 1901, a merry gift to the world at large
Edward Cullen owns my heart.

In the rainy town of Forks, Washington an unexpected romance ensues. Bella Swan, a once Arizona resident, decides to move into her Dad’s home in the forested Forks. It is there where she meets the Cullen family. Mysterious and reclusive, Bella is enthralled in one particular member, Edward Cullen. Soon realizing the Cullens are vampires, she delves into a unique relationship with the family’s charming son.

I have always been a big fan of the Twilight movie series but the books are just something else. The personalities of Edward and Bella are so unique in the books. I actually found Bella to be hilarious in Twilight, something I never got to see in the movies. The chemistry between the two just makes you keep on reading. I literally spent my summer at Barnes and Noble just to read in silence. I recommend this book to romance and vampire lovers alike. It is just a fun read!!!
